A quote is built from the length of the yacht, the number of cabins and heads, the current condition of the surfaces and the interval you want (one-off, seasonal, annual). Two yachts of the same length take different amounts of time if one has been maintained regularly and the other has been left for two seasons, and the price follows that.
The interior volume of an 18-metre yacht varies considerably with her layout. Cabin count, teak deck area and the proportion of leather upholstery drive the hours regardless of length. So we take length as a starting point and give a firm price after the initial assessment.
Sharing photos or a short video of your yacht on WhatsApp, along with her length and cabin count, is enough. An assessment made from images produces a far more accurate price than a description over the phone.
This is starkest on compounding and teak work: a lightly chalked hull comes back with a single polishing stage, while heavy oxidation needs a multi-stage program from cutting compound down to fine polish. The same applies to a teak deck that cleans up versus one that needs sanding — the difference in hours is substantial.
The price given after the assessment is fixed; no extras appear mid-job. On seasonal agreements it stays fixed for the minimum term. If something outside the agreed scope comes up, we ask you first and do nothing without your approval.
We are based in Istanbul and also serve the Aegean marinas, primarily Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek and Yalıkavak. For work in the Aegean, crew travel and accommodation are stated separately in the quote, so no surprise line items appear later.
